Amélie Esterházy is a Berlin-based visual artist working in sculpture, installation and research-driven, site-specific projects. Her practice investigates how structures — biological, architectural and social — produce meaning, memory and systems of belonging. She has exhibited internationally at institutions and galleries including the BMM (im Berliner Medizinhistorischen Museum), Georg Kolbe Museum (Berlin), Haus der Kunst (Munich), Rohkunstbau, CCA Andratx, Porthmeor Studios (St Ives), OPHEIM (Wrocław),Behncke Gallery (Munich) Allegra Ravizza Gallery (Lugano) and Jecza Gallery (Timișoara). Esterházy is also the founder and curator of OPEN Berlin, an artist-run project space.
