Workshops & Conferences
MIASA Conferences include Conferences of Interdisciplinary Fellow Groups (IFGs) and Follow-up Events, Policy Conferences, as well as Thematic Conferences, which take place at various sites across the African continent. MIASA Conferences are organized in cooperation with one or several of the partner institutions at the University of Ghana and/or by external cooperation partners in Ghana and other African countries. They often attract attention beyond the academic community. By offering hybrid formats, MIASA aims at targetting a worldwide audience. Policy Conferences and Thematic Conferences invite papers via an open call.
MIASA Workshops include Writing and Publishing workshops as well as Female Academic Career workshops. Participation is restricted to successful applicants.
