On 23 March 2026 MIASA received a delegation of seven university presidents, rectors, vice-rectors and chancellors from Germany and representatives of the DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst to learn more about the institute’s activities and their impact on the German academic landscape as well as about fellows’ experiences in building up international networks. The group consisted of representatives from Leuphania University Lüneburg, Free University Berlin, Leibniz University Hannover, UniversIty of Regensburg, Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf, University of Münster and University of Kassel. The group was part of a larger delegation of 21 university leaders from Germany to Ghana, engaging with Ghanaian Universities and institutions to strengthen dialogue, exchange ideas, and explore new avenues for collaboration. The delegation was accompanied by DAAD Secretary General Kai Sicks.
