Lassané YAMÉOGO holds a doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences from the Free University of Brussels (ULB) in Belgium. He is a senior researcher at the National Center for Scientific and Technological Research (CNRST), specifically at the Institute of Social Sciences in Burkina Faso. He also teaches Journalism at the Joseph Ki-Zerbo University in Burkina Faso and at the Superior School of Journalism (ESJ Lille) in France. He is an associate researcher at the Free University of Brussels, where he is a member of the Information and Communication Research Center (ReSIC) and the Laboratory of Journalistic Practices and Identities (LaPIJ). Lassané YAMÉOGO’s research interests include the interrelationships between journalism and conflict, journalism and political regimes, journalism and gender, and journalism and technological progress.
