Dr. Agnes Schneider-Musah is the Academic Coordinator at the Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA), based on Legon campus at the University of Ghana. Her main responsibilities are the financial management of the core fund from the German government, the coordination of fellow selection and fellow support, as well as public relations. She is the first point of contact for fellows and workshop organisers in organizational and administrative matters.
George Amexo is the Event Manager at MIASA at University of Ghana. He supports the Academic Coordinator and MIASA’s consortium partners in organizing MIASA events at the University of Ghana. He holds an MSc. in International Development Studies from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Ås.
Mary Aprekuwah Ametepey is Principal Administrative Assistant of MIASA at University of Ghana. She is in charge of running the local administration of the institute.

Dr. Marko Scholze is Coordinator of the outreach event program of the Maria Sibylla Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA) at the Goethe University Frankfurt. He is in charge of the organization of the MIASA thematic conferences in collaboration with the network Point Sud member institutions and the Pilote African Postgraduate Academy (PAPA) as well as the annual writing schools in Accra.
