Prof. Gretchen Bauer is professor of political science and international relations at the University of Delaware, USA. In 2016 she was a Fulbright Scholar at LECIAD at the University of Ghana. She is currently a Democracy and Development Fellow at CDD-Ghana as well as a Senior Fellow at MIASA at the University of Ghana. Her research focuses on women’s political leadership in Africa, in particular on women’s underrepresentation in parliament and the cabinet in Ghana.
