MIASA Director ‚Ghana‘ Professor Grace Diabah has been appointed to the International Advisory Board of the Consortium of Humanities Centres and Institutes (CHCI). The CHCI is a global forum that strengthens the work of humanities centres and institutes through advocacy, grant-making, and inclusive collaboration. The forum advances cross-institutional partnerships, recognizes regional humanities cultures, and mobilizes the collective capacity of the humanities to engage the most pressing issues in society today.
CHCI’s International Advisory Board members are directors from various centres and institutes in the humanities worldwide. They are selected based on their individual qualifications including intellectual leadership skills as well as the need for intellectual, regional and institutional representation within the Consortium.
Professor Diabah’s board membership at the CHCI will be another excellent opportunity to strengthen MIASA’s network and enhance its visibility worldwide. The members of MIASA’s Executive Council congratulate Professor Diabah on this new appointment.
